Interesting rocks

Serpentine is not a single mineral, but rather a group of related minerals. ... Chrysotile is further sub-classified into four member minerals by its crystallization, and Clinochrysotile is by far the most prevalent form of Chrysotile. Fibrous Chrysotile, a type of asbestos, should never be brought near the mouth i think this is it.

File_009.jpegThe rounded clasts of conglomerate can be mineral particles such as quartz, or they can be sedimentary, metamorphic, or igneous rock fragments. The matrix that binds the large clasts together can be a mixture of sand, mud, and chemical cement.
